Wise, NC  This Rosenwald School Matters! This Rosenwald School Matters! Warren County Training School, Wise, NC beneficiary of $50,000 Lowe's grant. Tom Harris (L), President of the Warren County Training School Alumni Association, National Trust Southern Office Director John Hildreth and Greg Pons, Manager of the Henderson, NC Lowe's store, celebrate the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation grant of $50,000 to the Alumni Association for their efforts to restore the 1932 Rosewnald school campus. The photograph is taken in front of the Rosenwald teacher's home on the campus in Wise, NC. The home benefitted from two work days coordinated by Greg and employees from his store. The home will house the offices of the Alumni Association. |
